Weddings

Your wedding is the most special moment of your life and you want the very best music to compliment your special day. This occasion will never be forgotten and the outstanding vision of beauty of the harp and the special beautiful music will defiantly enhance your guest experience of a truly wonderful wedding. The music for your wedding will set the mood and atmosphere with inspiration, reverence and beauty. What could be a better choice than a Lyon and Healy Grand Concert harp played by a musician who is dedicated to providing you with music that will thrill your soul and bring fond memories to your guest?

Marie meets with each bride and her fiancée about the selection of the music for their ceremony. The music selections are tailored to the vision of the special ceremony that the bride has dreamed of since she was a little girl. This day is very special and Marie is dedicated to providing selections that meet every taste. The traditional wedding marches, religious, classical and popular music are all included in Marie’s repertoire.

The harp is a beautiful solo instrument and does not require the use of other instruments. Marie’s harp has an acoustical pick up which allows the harp to be amplified. The sound system uses wireless connection to speakers allowing the speakers to be placed without the use of any wires. This allows for greater freedom of placement of the speakers so that the best sound can be achieved based on the design and shape of the room. This also works well with Marie being able to use the sound system in the wedding ceremony and then setting up her sound system for the reception.

Marie is an accomplished musician who also plays organ, Piano, flute, clarinet and has recently taken up playing the Cello. We sometime have what we refer to as a “roller skate wedding” where Marie will play the harp, organ and piano all for the same wedding. Marie also will accompany soloist on any of these instruments however there will be an accompanying fee and Marie does not accompany anyone without practice.
